Regressing to childhood?

Our little clique has sort of been indulging ourselves in our childhoods, recently.
The girls have been having fuzzy poster drawing parties. We stay up late, watch something like Labyrinth or The Dark Crystal, and eat chocolate.
We've also rediscovered how much fun indoor roller skating in quads is. I hadn't been roller skating in over ten years until we went last month. Diana and I are probably digging it the most. Last night, we bought new skates and season passes to an awesome rink.
At least one of us did voice a concern about regressing to childhood so but I think it's fine and natural. We've had some stressful times and this stuff is comforting.
I've had an idea for a "kindergarten" get-together. We can have Bailey's (milk) and cookies, color fuzzy posters, and I can read a story out loud instead of watching a movie. Otherwise, I vote for Excalibur or Legend as the next movie but the girls will probably overrule me and want to watch The Last Unicorn.

The Last Unicorn makes me cry and cry. Granted I always cry if something could even be remotely considered sad. I remember watching that one Sunday morning when I was a little kid, and feeling so sad for the unicorn who will always feel regret. The book is also really great.
I think I'm the only one who hasn't seen it. Would you like to come over for our Last Unicorn, Bailey's, and cookies party? We got fuzzy posters to color...
Heh, I'm glad I held off on the spoilers then.
And as far as coming over, I'd love to but I'm unsure of puppy-ness.
Of course. Puppy Puppy Puppy! :)
Either way, you guys are always welcome. I just need to remember to send out invites and make them more in advance. We have (seemingly) never ending supplies of dark chocolate and booze.
Hmmm dark chocolate and booze... Those are quite tempting. :D
PUPPY?? Puppies take priority over everything! (just peeked at your LJ, and OMG GIANT SQUISHY PUPPY! SO MUCH CUTE!)
That said, TR's had so much awesome to say about you and your lady, I really can't wait to meet you, so please come over one of these days...
awww ;D I'm blushing. And yes, we intend to come over at some point, but there is the adorable puppy arriving tomorrow and throwing all schedules into confusion.
I'm so very excited about the puppy. And I do promise that once said puppy actually arrives there will be more adorable pictures up. So stay tuned for cuteness!
Yay, making people blush is fun!
I can't wait for more puppy pictures :) (Although I think your 3-month old puppy might be bigger than my 4-year-old dog!)
Now I want to watch The Last Unicorn! It's like... one of my favorite animated movies ever! <3
I also haven't seen The Princess Bride in a while.
We can probably wait until you're in town. That sounds like a great Sera celebratory party.
I would love that, but I don't want you to postpone fun on my behalf. If it makes sense for everyone to watch it this weekend, go for it. ^_^
I hope you (all of you) have a great time.
