This "25 things" list has been going around.
  1. I don't like strawberries. When I was a child, my grandmother loved to spoil me so she would keep giving me my favorite treat until I tired of it. I ate so many strawberries that I no longer like strawberries. I've had enough for a lifetime, I guess.
  2. At one point, I went through a "minimalist" phase. I basically gave away all of my physical possessions except for a very few. I lived like a hermit monk. That didn't really change until a while after I moved to California.
  3. I often get tactile hallucinations that objects within a couple inches of me but out of my vision are actually touching me. Like, if I'm standing next to the table, I'll feel the edge of the table against me even though it's not actually touching. I haven't found a mention of this phenomena on the web.
  4. I don't like needles or sharp objects. Partly because of #3.
  5. I'm scary good at detective/stalking skills online. I use my powers for good, not evil.
  6. I have never lost my key chain.
  7. I organize the house or go to the movies when I'm upset.
  8. I identify as Taoist. Mostly, because I think there are patterns to the way the universe works that haven't been proved out by scientific method, yet.
  9. I'm an optimist.
  10. There are certain kinds of "going to shit" that make me paradoxically happy.
  11. I like spearmint altoids and gum. Peppermint is yuck.
  12. I often can't tell boys from girls unless they are close up.
  13. I apparently make awesome deviled eggs.
  14. Having pets gives me nightmares about accidentally forgetting and neglecting them.
  15. I don't want kids. I've already been snipped.
  16. I try to be an amateur bartender. I keep meaning to go to bar tending school just for fun.
  17. My girlfriend just doodled on me with orange highlighter while she's (supposed to be) studying for class.
  18. I have no tattoos, yet, but I really want some and I have a design in my head for a big one.
  19. After conducting an LJ poll, I got my ears pierced.
  20. I like to wear jewelry that my girlfriend made for me.
  21. I'm orally fixated. I always have mints and gum. My pens all have teeth marks.
  22. I'm apparently good at brushing hair.
  23. I received a velvet cape for a holiday gift.
  24. I'd much rather volunteer for an event than attend it.
  25. My dream is to own a coffee shop, bar, or some kind of meeting and social hang out.

#5 - If you're ever bored, I'd be curious what you can find out about me. I'm a bit private, so there shouldn't be much but I'm curious how much someone who's determined and good can find.
